Monthly Archives: September 2012
The Mama’s and Papa’s (the 60’s singing group) had a song entitled ‘Look Through My Window.’ One of the lines in that song that has stayed with me for all these years is: “And nothing’s quite as sure as change—”
Ain’t that the truth!
‘A Place for Writers’ is not actually moving – it will stay right here, right where it’s been for over two and a half years. But, it will be static. All of the posts – and all the DIY Interviews – will still be accessible. And, people will still be able to leave comments – I promise to check in here regularly – but I am moving to a new home – www.DaynaLCheser.com
Some of the APW content is cloning my new site (but will stay here, as well). For example, all the DIY Interview information will be available on both sites. Where ‘A Place for Writers’ is a WordPress.com site – blog only – my new site is a full-fledged website with a new blog ‘Posts by Dayna.’ And, while my legal name is still Julie Jordan, my new site is for my alter-ego – Dayna Leigh Cheser – www.DaynaLCheser.com
To Celebrate the big move and my Grand Opening on my new site – AND – that my Twitter page now has (almost) 15,000 Followers, I’ve got a fun writing contest happening. The Contest will start at 12:00 AM on September 24th and end at 11:;59 PM on October 15, 2012. If you want to know more about the contest, please check out the Contest Information page on my new site – http://bit.ly/DLC-Contest While you’re there, take a look around and leave a comment on the front page – www.DaynaLCheser.com
I’m not moving my mailing lists so I invite you all to come on over, take a look around, and sign up for my emails in your preferred way.
My next post, which would normally be scheduled for September 24th, is up already on my new site. Click on ‘Posts by Dayna’ at www.DaynaLCheser.com to see the new post there.
You know? It’s kind of sad to be leaving this site behind. I’ve learned so much, and met so many great people while doing posts here on APW. But, none of that will change over on DLC. I’m sure I’ll meet lots of fine folks there, too. Will one of them be you?
Please, come on over and look around. I’m sure you’ll like what you see at – www.DaynaLCheser.com.
Happy Writing, and see you soon.
