XXXXX12.21.12 End Times – Is It a Prediction or a Conspiracy?
Why are people, including the parents of Jeremy Nash, being murdered for what they found in the End Times Predictions?
Jeremy Nash arrives home to find a Hopi Indian maiden waiting for him. She tells him she has proof that his parents were murdered for what they found in the 2012 End Times Predictions. Her invoice for a Kachina doll, encrypted with strange code words, launches Nash into a dizzying discovery of truth behind the Hopi End Times Prediction – and the secret organization that murdered his parents for what they discovered.
XXXXXCountdown to 12.21.12.
The first FREE installment of ‘SEED’ is at Smashwords.
One new installment will appear every Monday for 15 weeks .
What was the first story you remember writing?
A science fiction novel that was very badly written. But, they told me, it had a good plot.
How many books have you written?
I’ve written a dozen non-fiction books that have collectively sold over 50,000 copies.
When were you first published? How were you discovered?
Macmillan Publishers discovered me from my website at About.com. I was the online shopping guide there. They needed someone to write an ‘Idiots Guide to Starting an Online Business.’
How much of yourself is hidden in the characters of your books?
Jeremy Nash is a skeptic. So am I. I believe little of what I hear, some of what I see, and a little bit more of what I read.
Which is more important to your story – character or plot?
I think characters are important but plot trumps that. What good are well-developed characters if they don’t have an interesting story to tell.
Do you currently have stories swirling around in your head?
I have a file cabinet with several stories waiting to be developed.
What one book, written by someone else, do you wish you’d written?
‘The Andromeda Strain’, which is also the book that gave me my writing style.
So you have a saying/motto for your life and/or as a writer?
Never give up.
Who gave you the best writing advice you ever received and what was it?
A fellow writer, Paul McCarthy, told me to write as many books as possible. Get those books out into the marketplace. If they are good, when one hits, readers will go back and read all your others. Keep producing. Never stop.
Please tell us about your current project.
My fifth novel, ‘MURRAN,’ is the story of a young African-American boy named Trey coming of age in the 1980s, and his rite of passage to adulthood. Trey is a member of a ‘crew’ in Brooklyn and is enticed into helping a violent street gang. He is eventually framed for murder and flees with his high school teacher to the teacher’s Massai village in Kenya. Trey goes through the Massai warrior’s rite of passage, becomes a young shaman, and returns to America to confront and defeat the gang leader who framed him.
I’d like to thank Frank for his submission.
