When and how did you discover you wanted to be a writer/author?
I discovered I wanted to be a writer at the tender age of 10 years old when I began my autobiography, “How I Became Me” – which I will complete and publish one day.

Please tell about your first publication – what was it, when, how you felt when it happened, problems you had, etc.
All Other Ground is an inspirational nonfiction that chronicles a walk from the past into the freedom of forgiveness and the future. I was going through a very trying time (divorce & custody battle) and I needed a way out of the dark.

Please tell about the most memorable moment(s) in your writing career.
My most memorable moment had to be my first NaNoWriMo in 2009, when I wrote How to Taste it at the End of the Day (this book has been adapted for film, by an independent production company – filming begins in 2012).

I have won NaNoWriMo twice, 2009 and 2010
I have won an award from the Mayor of Baltimore, MD in 2010

What advice would you give to all up-and-coming writers?
I would tell them to write what they are passionate about, it will come easily. Do not get discouraged on the journey – the destination is still attainable if you keep pushing.

“BEHOLDEN” – An insidious dark spirit has been unleashed upon the quaint town of Galena, IL and everyone is filled with fear. What is the cause of the devastation and who is to blame? Could it be tied to the secret passions and pacts of those who have been touched by the evil? No one is safe — the debt will be paid.

What is the anticipated release date?
Mid 2012
